A QUILTS STORY..
Years ago many ladies sat together sharing laughter & tears, as their hands steadily worked to stitch together remnants of fabric to create a quilt. Imagine the comfort those ladies found in each other as they shared that time together.
Once complete, the quilt began a new journey. The quilt continued to bring comfort & now warmth to a family, during bedtime stories, snuggle time & times of rest.
This quilt would pass from generation to generation bringing memories & comfort to each as though wrapping each generation in a warm hug.
Unfortunately as the quilt aged, it began to weaken and no longer able to provide the comfort it was made for. This tattered & unrepairable quilt sat waiting for a new life, so it could continue to bring comfort.
These quilt squares will continue the quilts journey. Whether someone is sick, traveling or facing one of life's challenges, they are small enough to tuck in a pocket, purse, book or suitcase. Each square has a wooden cross tucked inside to insure the holder that God is with them.
What a life an old quilt has had & will continue to have as it continues to bring comfort to many. Wouldn't we all like to have the same amount of impact in our lifetime as this one quilt has had.
